On or about March 30, 2025, at 4:12 P.M. Richfield police responded to a report of a domestic assault. The reporting party, “Victim” herein, said her boyfriend, Bryce Jaimar Williams [DOB REDACTED] “Defendant” herein, had kicked her and taken her cell phone. Defendant then fled on foot. Police arrived to [ADDRESS REDACTED], Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota and made contact with the victim. The victim [NAME REDACTED] has been in a relationship with defendant for four years. Defendant was on EHM and lives with his mom in an apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. When he was released from jail in February, she let Defendant use her iPhone XR because he did not have a cell phone.
She said she previously went to his mom’s apartment to get her phone back and an altercation occurred. She said defendant punched her multiple times and she left without the iPhone XR. Today, she returned to get to get her phone back. She said he was reluctant to return the iPhone XR to her. Defendant then took her iPhone 16 from her and kicked her in the stomach causing her to fall. Defendant then fled on foot with her iPhone XR and her iPhone 16. Later, at 6:04 P.M. The victim [NAME REDACTED] was able to access her Apple account and determine the location of her iPhone.
The iPhone was showing at the Southdale YMCA, [ADDRESS REDACTED] South. Police arrived to the Southdale YMCA and located Defendant in a single-room bathroom. Officers knocked on the door and eventually came out. Defendant was taken into custody. Police located the victim’s iPhone XR and iPhone 16 concealed in a fold-down changing station. Defendant is currently on conditional release for a Felony Threats of Violence (27-CR-25-4040). Defendant remains in custody.
