Complainant is Maple Grove Police Department Detective Dominic Wareham. Complainant states that on October 5, 2025, officers responded to the Walmart in the city of Maple Grove, Hennepin County, Minnesota, regarding a theft offense that had just occurred. Officers spoke with Walmart loss prevention officer K. Stinar, who advised that a white male about 30-35 years old in a dark baseball cap and a blue/green flannel shirt attempted to steal a television and was uncooperative with loss prevention during apprehension.
The male carried the television from the electronics section and walked towards the North side entrance. Upon seeing the door attendant, the male then changed direction and headed for the south end of the store. The male then walked through a closed checkout lane with the TV in hand and walked towards the south exit where he was stopped by loss prevention. The male had passed all points of sale and had not attempted to pay for the merchandise, which was valued at $214. Stinar provided officers a vehicle description and license plate that the male left in.
Stinar confirmed that they were able to recover the television, but the male had not provided his information. Investigators found the vehicle was registered to JORDAN ALEXANDER THEISEN [DOB REDACTED]. Investigators reviewed the video surveillance and noted that the suspect was wearing a black hat with white "BAD" lettering on it. Investigators located a THEISEN's facebook page, which has a photograph that he posted of himself with the exact same black hat with white "BAD" lettering that was worn during the theft.
Investigators went to THEISEN's residence and observed his vehicle that was reported from the theft, but were unable to make contact with THEISEN.
