Eden Irie Karlen

On February 1, 2026, at about 6:40 P.M., Officer Duit of the Rochester Police Department was patrolling in the area of 500 1 Avenue NW in Rochester, Olmsted County, Minnesota. At that time, Officer Duit observed a vehicle with no headlights or taillights on. Officer Duit conducted traffic stop and identified the driver as Eden Irie Karlen [DOB REDACTED]. Karlen’s driver’s license status showed it was canceled inimical to public safety and had interlock restriction. No interlock device was observed within the vehicle.

Karlen told Officer Duit she did not have driver’s license and that her license was revoked. Karlen was not able to provide a proof of insurance for the vehicle. Karlen was placed under arrest. Karlen advised Officer Duit she had something in her bra. Officers located a suspected controlled substance in her bra and used drug paraphernalia on her person. The substance tested positive for fentanyl and weighed 2.1 grams with packaging. Officers conducted vehicle search and located other suspected controlled substances in the vehicle.

Officers located 3 baggies inside the vehicle. One baggie contained an unknown white powdery substance and weighed 65.2 grams with packaging. The second baggie contained a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 0.8 grams with packaging. The third baggie also contained a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed 2.3 grams with packaging.
