On October 3, 2025, at approximately 1:25 AM, officers of the Crystal Police Department were dispatched to Golden Valley Greenway Apartments located at Brunswick Ave N, City of Crystal, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Officers were advised of a potential trespassing issue concerning a suspect later identified as BRIANA LANESE BOLER, [DOB REDACTED], the Defendant herein. Upon arriving at the scene, Defendant was located in the parking lot of the apartment complex standing between vehicles. Defendant had been trespassed on October 2, 2025. When asked why she returned, Defendant stated her father invited her back and that her aunt was on her way to pick her up.
Defendant was told to leave the property by an officer, to which she began to walk off the property but then turned around and began to argue with the officers. Due to Defendant continuously failing to comply and the likelihood of continued trespass, Defendant was arrested. After Defendant's arrest, an officer spoke a female nearby who stated Defendant had damaged her vehicle, a 2019 Nissan Rogue, in the parking lot. The officer observed scratches on the front passenger side door that the victim [NAME REDACTED]. The officer was also shown a cell phone video showing Defendant swinging a black bag at the victim's vehicle.
Defendant was searched incident to arrest and a small plastic bag with a white crystalline-like substance was found inside her backpack. An officer stated he believed the substance to be methamphetamine. Defendant was transported to Hennepin County Jail, however the jail does not accept backpacks and thus the backpack was transported to Crystal Police Department. The white crystalline-like substance was tested and came back positive for methamphetamine, weighing 4.0 grams.
