On November 30, 2025, Deputy Cassidy of the Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to a theft and unauthorized financial transaction card fraud report from an adult male, hereinafter Complainant, who resided in the City of St. Michael, Wright County, Minnesota. Complainant reported the following: Complainant met a female who identified herself as Dede Mow Mow on Facebook Dating; The female came to Complainant's home at 1:18 A.M. On November 29, 2025, via an Uber ride that Complainant paid for; Complainant fell asleep at approximately 2:00 A.M.; Footage from Complainant's Ring doorbell system showed the female left the residence at 4:23 A.M., while Complainant slept; After Complainant woke up, he received notifications from his bank regarding potential fraudulent charges on his bank's Visa card; On November 30, 2025, Complainant received emails showed transactions with his Visa card that were not authorized by Complainant; Moreover, Complainant's phone contact information had been changed, with the last four digits of the new number matching the last four digit's of the female's phone number; Complainant also learned of unauthorized transactions on his Chase credit card; Complainant's wallet still contained his Chase card, but his Visa card was missing; Approximately $1000.00 was also missing from his office; The female left a pair of socks at Complainant's residence.
Deputy Cassidy collected the socks and obtained screen shots from Complainant. The screen shots were from the Ring camera footage and were also related to some fraudulent transactions as well as information about the female. Deputy Cassidy determined that the phone number linked to the female came back to an adult male. Investigation revealed that a female named Dimajia Williams was also associated with that phone number. A search of Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services records included a person named Dimajia Denai Williams [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant.
A photograph of Defendant from Driver and Vehicle Services looked similar to the female who took Complainant's credit card and used his credit card number. Detective Adams of the Wright County Sheriff's Office was assigned to conduct further investigation. Detective Adams reviewed photographs of Defendant from law enforcement agencies. Those photographs appeared to match the female suspect and photographs on the Facebook profile for DeDe Mow Mow. A photographic lineup was presented to Complainant on January 7, 2026. Complainant selected Defendant's photograph with 100% certainty as the female he knew as Dede.
Video footage from one location showed a male using Complainant's Visa card, indicating Defendant had distributed the card for use without Complainant's permission. Video footage from the Total Wine store in Roseville, Minnesota, showed Defendant make a purchase of $63.41 with Complainant's Visa card. There were other unauthorized transactions at multiple businesses that occurred with Complainant's Visa and Chase card numbers from November 29, 2025 to December 1, 2025, for a total of amount of $998.44, including the transaction by the male and the transaction at Total Wine.
