On December 26, 2025, at 1104 hours, St. Paul police officers responded to 810 Sherburne, St. Paul, Ramsey County, on a report of three males who broke into the residence and assaulted two victims. Two of the suspects fled the scene. Occupants of the residence were holding the third male, identified as Aronde Malik Walker, [DOB REDACTED]. The homeowner, LAT, [DOB REDACTED], stated that she and her husband, KT, [DOB REDACTED], heard a loud noise. They came upstairs to investigate. Three males had broken into the home.
They assaulted KT and a visitor to the home, identified as SHG, [DOB REDACTED]. SHG said that Walker struck him in the back of the head with a large rock. SHG also said that the males attempted to go through his pockets, but they found nothing. Officers observed a large lump to the back of SHG’s head. Officers observed rocks in the living room of the home. LAT told police that the suspects took her Apple Iphone 12 which had been in the living room. She said that she later found out that one of their visitors may have owed money to one of the males.
KT said that he was seen at United Hospital and was diagnosed with a severe concussion. He said Walker struck him on the right side of his head behind the ear with a large rock. In a post-Miranda interview, Walker said that he had used fentanyl earlier and when he woke up his phone was missing. He said that he and two males, Spencer and Skip, tracked the phone to 810 Sherburne. One of the males broke the window and they entered the home. He asked for his cell phone and one of the males started wrestling with him.
He denied hitting anyone with a rock. He admitted that he did punch a male in the head.
