On September 2, 2025, at approximately 12:13 P.M., law enforcement was dispatched to Pristine Polish and Detailing located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] 16 in the City of Grand Meadow, County of Mower, for a disturbance involving an intoxicated male, later identified as GORDON WILLIAM GRIEBENOW, DOB/020759, the defendant herein. The reporting party (an adult male) advised that the defendant was at his shop and refusing to leave the property. The reporting party stated that the defendant drove from Rochester to Grand Meadow to confront him.
Officer Wynn of the Grand Meadow Police Department arrived at scene and observed a beige Ford Taurus (MN license ETG120) with the defendant standing outside the vehicle. Wynn made contact and observed the defendant to have slurred speech. Wynn then continued to drive around the property to see if the reported disturbance was occurring elsewhere on the property. Officer Wynn then contacted the reporting party. The reporting party advised the officer that the defendant was on the property, and he wanted the defendant trespassed from the premises.
The reporting party later advised Deputy Krebsbach that the defendant is a customer. That morning the defendant called and said he wanted his car cleaned. The reporting party told the defendant that he was too busy that day. The defendant became upset and demanded that his car get cleaned. The reporting party advised that the defendant was intoxicated on the phone. The reporting party said that he argued with the defendant and hung up. The reporting party stated that the defendant showed up to his shop a few hours later and drove it inside the shop bay.
The reporting party told the defendant that he was too busy, and the defendant argued with him. The reporting party stated that the defendant appeared to be intoxicated and that the defendant told the reporting party that he was intoxicated. The reporting party then walked away and called law enforcement. After speaking with the reporting party, Officer Wynn returned to where the defendant had been and observed him in the driver's seat of the vehicle backing out of the shop entrance. When Wynn pulled up behind the vehicle, the defendant then drove his vehicle back into the shop, left the keys in the ignition, and got out of the vehicle with what Wynn thought was a bottle of alcohol.
The defendant then went further into the building and out of Wynn's view. Officer Wynn followed and located the defendant standing in a hallway next to a bathroom. Wynn located a beverage in a glass with a black insulated beverage holder tucked behind the toilet. The defendant stated that the beverage was Jameson whiskey mixed with water. Wynn then requested the defendant return to the entrance where his vehicle was parked. Wynn observed the defendant struggle to walk in a straight line. The defendant stated that he had two Jameson whiskey and water beverages that day.
