Ariel Sheree Holmes

On or about December 6, 2025, ARIEL SHEREE HOLMES [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, rented a 2024 Ford Escape from Alamo rental agency at the Kansas City Airport in Missouri. The vehicle was to be returned on December 12, 2025. The vehicle was not. Attempts to get Defendant to return the vehicle were unsuccessful. The vehicle was reported stolen on January 1, 2026. On January 5, 2026, Minnetonka police were alerted that vehicle was showing a GPS location of an apartment complex located at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minnetonka, Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Police went to the complex and located the vehicle in a parking stall associated with a specific unit. Police then went to the unit and talked to Defendant who confirmed she rented the vehicle and knew the vehicle was past due but wanted to work on a payment plan and had been living out of the vehicle. Police also inspected the rental agreement itself when they met with Defendant. Defendant is not in custody for this offense.
