On March 31, 2026, officers patrolling near Portland Ave. S. And 70th St. E. In the County of Hennepin observed a Toyota Sienna driving on the road with a broken brake light. Officers observed the vehicle weave and touch the white solid line on the right of Portland Ave. With its tires. Officers also observed the driver of the vehicle continuously moving while driving. In your Complainant's training and experience this is a sign of operating a vehicle under the influence. Officers stopped the car.
The driver of the car was identified as DAVEY TERRELL CROCKETT [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein. As officers spoke with Defendant, he continued to display jerky movements and was unable to sit still. Officers had Defendant complete multiple field sobriety tests. Defendant showed multiple signs of impairment. Defendant was arrested for DWI. On Defendant's person officers found 56.01 grams of field-tested positive ("FTP") fentanyl; 1.20 grams of FTP cocaine; and 0.24 grams of FTP methamphetamine. In Defendant's vehicle, officers found a black pellet gun which looked like a pistol and scales for weighing narcotics.
The next day officers executed a search warrant on the hotel room Defendant had been using. The hotel was located in the City of Bloomington, County of Hennepin. In the hotel room officers found 52.76 grams of FTP cocaine, as well as substances that your Complainant knows from training and experience are used as cutting agents in the sale of narcotics. Defendant has previous qualifying Chapter 152 convictions for enhancement of small amounts of narcotics, including 27-CR-23-5205. Defendant is in custody in Hennepin County.
