Three Critically Injured After Assault in Kanabec County
The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault that occurred around 4:40 a.m. Sunday in rural Ogilvie. According to a media release from the sheriff’s office, two adult victims who lived at the residence were transported to Welia Hospital before being flown to trauma centers.

Goodhue Co. Deputy Shoots Man After Crash in Red Wing
Just before 1 p.m., an officer reported a male driver crashed into a power pole near the marina and was walking away from the vehicle. A short time later, the man was reported to be suicidal and was "attacking" an officer on scene in the parking lot.

Woodbury police are searching for two suspects after a juvenile was found shot in a crashed vehicle late Monday afternoon. Police say they responded to a 911 call just before 4:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Lake View Drive where a caller reported that a car had crashed through a garage and someone had been shot.
Woodbury Teen Avoids Jail Time in Fatal Reckless Driving Crash
18-year-old Kyle Scott Hollister pleaded guilty to one count of criminal vehicular homicide and one count of criminal vehicular operation after a fatal crash in Woodbury on March 13, 2021 that killed an occupant, Garrett Bumgarner, 18, and left three others with serious injuries. Bumgarner was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was found ejected from the vehicle.
Driver Dies After Collision with School Bus in Minnetonka
The Minnesota State Patrol has confirmed that one person has died after a crash involving a car and school bus in Minnetonka late Monday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to Highway 62 near Shady Oak Rd. around 3:50 p.m. and discovered a school bus loaded with 22 kids in the center median along with a passenger vehicle with significant damage.

The Hibbing Fire Department responded to a large fire at Yoder Building Supplies just after 9:00 p.m. Friday evening. Fire crews arrived and found fire showing from the warehouse-style building. Firefighters reported the fire quickly spread and breached the roof which prompted a second alarm being called.

North Saint Paul Police say two people are dead after a stabbing and shooting on the 2300 block of Shoshone Road. Police were called on Tuesday, Nov. 1, just after 12:30 p.m. and when squads arrived, they discovered multiple people with life-threatening injuries.
1 Dead, At Least 6 Injured in String of Minneapolis Shootings
Police are investigating after a string of shootings Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning left one person dead and at least six others wounded in Minneapolis. Officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2700 block of 15th Ave. S. just before 11:30 p.m. on Friday. When they arrived, police found an adult male with a gunshot wound inside the residence. The man was later pronounced deceased by paramedics.
Rochester Firefighters Fight Mobile Home Blaze Early Friday Morning
Rochester firefighters were called to Bob’s Trailer Court early Friday morning for a report of a trailer on fire. Firefighters arrived and found half of a structure fully-involved and threatening other nearby structures. Crews quickly pulled hose lines and attempted to knock down the fire from the outside to protect nearby buildings.
17-year-old Accused of Killing Grandmother, Attacking 4 in Roseville Home
Authorities have released new details on a Roseville homicide and ensuing manhunt for the suspect on Tuesday morning. The 17-year-old suspect—Matthew Francis Hill—is accused of killing his 88-year-old grandmother and attacking four other family members before fleeing from a home on the 1100 block of Ryan Ave. Police were called there around 10:20 a.m. for a report of a teenage family member who “went crazy” and was attacking others inside the home.
Man Charged in Double-Homicide at Saint Paul Sober House
A man on supervised release and previously civilly committed is now accused in a brutal double-homicide at a sober house in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood of Saint Paul. 32-year-old Joseph Francis Sandoval, II, was arrested just after the killings and is now formally charged with two counts of 2nd-degree murder.
Man Charged After Girl Found Beaten, Burned in Maplewood Apartment
A 26-year-old Maplewood man has been charged with 2nd-degree murder after authorities found his girlfriend’s 17-month-old daughter severely beaten and burned inside a Maplewood apartment earlier this week. Police say around 6:35 p.m., officers were sent to the area of Thomas Ave. & Grotto St., where they found an adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. The man was taken to the hospital but was later declared deceased.

Two people are now both formally charged after a man was found fatally shot inside an Inver Grove Heights home early Saturday morning. Logan David Slack, 25, and Fotini Anest West, 25, both of Minneapolis, are each charged with 2nd-degree intentional murder and 2nd-degree unintentional murder while committing a felony.
Police Arrest 2 After Shooting Outside Richfield HS Homecoming Game
Police have announced the arrests of two juveniles they believe are related to a shooting Friday night just outside the Richfield High School homecoming football game. The sound of the gunfire was captured on a school district livestream of the football game, and showed fans and players inside Spartan Stadium running for cover. The game was called in the 4th quarter and the rest of homecoming weekend events canceled by administrators.
